Fashion scent

Science has it that amongst the 5 senses we have, the sense of smell has the strongest effect on emotions as well as cognition. The association of fragrance and emotion is not an invention of poets or perfume-makers. Our olfactory receptors are directly connected to the limbic system, the most ancient and primitive part of the brain, which is thought to be the seat of emotion. Smell sensations are relayed to the cortex, where ‘cognitive’ recognition occurs, only after the deepest parts of our brains have been stimulated. Thus, by the time we correctly name a particular scent as, for example, ‘vanilla’ , the scent has already activated the limbic system, triggering more deep-seated emotional responses.
I'll spare you the lecture but basically fashion is image, and no one wants an aesthetically stinky one. Hence today we'll be paying attention to scents. Designers have been generous enough to afford us the opportunity to purchase their exquiste scents, as well as couture, hereby creating a complete fashionable you.

Smelling good doesnt have to cost much, here is a step-wise cost effective way to a better scent:

extremely cheap - use fragranced soaps to bathe, when done keep it in your wardrobe when done. Or make use of air freshners.

Cheap - use multipurpose air freshners.

Regular - full range of the products, I.e shampoo, bathing gel, deodorant, eau de toilette

Expensive - full range of products + designer eau de parfum.
