A glimpse of heaven.

This phrase is synonymous with ecstasy... not the drug, but the word. It is an experience we would pay any price to have day in day out, it's the source of all addictions. Its appeal to our hedonistic nature, its pursuance is constant. But here is the question I pose to you today.

What does heaven look like?

Our biology will allude this phenomenon as the interplay of hormones at various parts of our brains at certain points in time, which generates the euphoria that we denote as heaven. These intricate, internal workings are stimulated by external stimuli that come in various forms.

Everyone has a source of such stimuli, it spans from unitary activities such as listening to music, poetry, carousing, smoking to multiperson activities, sports, hangouts, sex, etc. Whichever yours may be, it serves as an oasis of wellness. As indulging as any of these may be, they still fall short of the mark.

The greatest vista of heaven can only be gotten through Love. If it were a drug it would be priceless, if it were a place it would be uncharted, if it were a person it would be unnamed. It is an act performed in a mindless state, an exhibition of effusive affection which may be detrimental to the well being of the possessed, but for its reward it must be endured.

The unequivocal truth is, every act of love is rewarded with a glimpse of heaven. It is a key created by the celestial being to ensure that man never goes extinct, but transits from one existential plane to another.

Many translate the word love as karma, good karma is the singular most important criterion for admission into paradise. The amount of positive karma we generate stimulates the butterfly effect that travels far and wide and inevitably returns to us in many folds, at this point we see heaven.

So, there you have it. We should endeavour to do an act of love daily, asides bringing heaven to your purview, it also boosts self-esteem and preserves humanity.
